Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Delivery Driver/Shophand Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in driving a company owned vehicle to and from customer locations in the GTA & Halton Area. You will be driving in a professional vehicle with a company logo throughout. The position will primarily be to deliver custom and wedding cake orders to customers, complete grocery runs, and cleaning the bakery.

Responsibilities
• Deliver multiple orders efficiently and effectively to different locations.
• Perform heavy lifting and moving of merchandise to ensure proper storing is taking place.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inventory area, ensuring all items and materials are stored properly.
• Support inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop environment.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in bakery and delivering.

Qualifications
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Valid G Driver's License.
• Proof of Insurance.
• Provide a Certified & Current Criminal Record Check
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• Ability to perform heavy lifting a minimum of 50 pounds and moving tasks as required by the job.
• Previous experience in commercial delivery driving is advantageous.
• A customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing positive experiences for clients.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.
• Current Food Handler's Certificate
• Must be 25 years old or older upon start date.
