Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using various welding techniques, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and the operation of related machinery to support efficient production processes.

Responsibilities
• Perform MIG and TIG welding to fabricate metal parts according to detailed schematics and blueprints
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
• Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions and quality standards
• Rigging and handling materials safely using cranes or forklifts as needed
• Assist with machining, assembly, and installation of ductwork or structural components
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
• Support the setup and operation of welding equipment, including plasma cutting
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality

Skills
• 3rd or Journeyperson
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing, construction, or fabrication
• Experience with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and machining processes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math for measurements and calculations
• Knowledge of plasma cutting, welding safety protocols, and schematics interpretation
• Strong understanding of assembly processes within manufacturing environments
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
