Job Descriptions:
The Security Site Supervisor will lead the Vendor’s security team in delivering the Services and achieving the objectives outlined in this posting. This role requires strong leadership, customer service, emergency management experience, and diplomacy. Reporting to the Dedicated Account Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of security operations for the Vendor and all operational aspects of the Vendor’s security team. Key areas of focus include emergency management, security operations, staffing, administration, health and safety, and adherence to company standards and industry best practices. Quality assurance is a critical component to ensure full compliance with the requirements of this Agreement.
• Supervise and support all on-site security personnel, including supervisors, SOC Operators, and front-line officers
• Foster a professional, ethical, and inclusive work environment through coaching, mentoring, and recognition
• Set and achieve individual and team performance objectives
• Implement and oversee security training in line with company and industry standards
• Maintain and support Vendor-specific emergency management plans and protocols
• Plan and oversee monthly emergency drills
• Ensure all staff are trained on emergency and security procedures
• Review incident reports, identify trends, and implement corrective actions
• Respond to security incidents and service calls as required
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and security-related projects

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of security experience in a commercial and/or government environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role is an asset
• Strong knowledge of security operations, emergency management, and life-safety systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, intrusion) is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal security regulations
• Understanding of current security industry trends and best practices
• Legally Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Lvl C
• Must be able to provide approved certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) (if unable, certification can be obtained with Paladin)
