Allied Universal® is hiring a Aviation Security Guard.

The Aviation Security Guard will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel.

The Security Guard should know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

Pay Rate: $19.94 /HOUR

Position Type: Casual

Shift Hours: 06:00-14:00; 14:00-22:00; 16:00 -00:00

Shift: All shifts available including weekends and holidays.

Overview: Allied Universal® is seeking a highly responsible Bilingual Security Professionals to ensure the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel at the airport. The officer will be responsible for patrolling, monitoring site-specific policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies while delivering superior customer service.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor vehicle traffic and equipment activities, ensuring compliance with airport regulations.
• Ensure proper use of vehicle corridors and address speeding violations.
• Monitor and report waste management issues, wildlife activity, airside smoking, and fuel spills.
• Inspect security systems, including doors, cameras, and locks.
• Verify airport restricted area passes with a mobile card reader.
• Detect and enforce regulations related to the Aeronautics Act and other aerodrome rules.
• Assist with crowd control and public order within the Passenger Transportation Board (PTB).
• Provide assistance to emergency response personnel and escort emergency vehicles onto the airfield.
• Operate Explosive Trace Detection Equipment (EVD) as required.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, ticketing, and report-writing during patrols.
• Escort unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas.
• Other security-related duties as directed.

Qualifications:
• 5 years of verifiable employment history.
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English. French is considered first language.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• First Aid and CPR.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
• Open availability for shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
