Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Spot Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality welds while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities
• Perform welding on various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork, ensuring strong and accurate welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding requirements.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as MIG, and plasma cutting machines.
• Operate forklifts and cranes as needed for material handling.

Experience
• Previous experience in welding or fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and other welding techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with machining processes, pipe threading, soldering, and operating press brake machines is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
