Job Summary

Drill Rite Services Ltd. is currently looking for an Welder to join our growing team. As a leader in the screw pile industry, we are committed to providing high quality, innovative, engineered foundation products, distributed and installed by our installers for permanent helical pier. Aside from our highly trained team of professionals and our commitment to customer service, we also manufacture our own screw piles in our Canadian Welding Bureau Certified shop which ensures a top quality product custom made for each job; work along side our customers to ensure our screw piles meet the demands of even the toughest soil conditions; ensure every project is completed on time, on budget and meets the highest of workmanship standards; and custom manufacture pile caps and brackets to meet the specific needs of each job.

As Welder, you will:

· have at least 1 year of welding experience

· be prepared to follow all required health and safety procedures;

· have experience handling materials;

· be able to cut pipe to proper measurements;

· be able to load and unload heavy materials to and from various vehicles and machine;

· have skid steer training;

· be able to work in a shop/yard environment;

· have excellent communication and problem solving skills;

· be willing and able to work night shift when required;

· demonstrate the ability to think critically, act logically to evaluate situations; solve problems, and make decisions;

· have experience working in the industrial industry and or construction industry;

· Collaborates with coworkers (labourers and operators) to perform safe and efficient set-up (including adjustments) of workstations, tools, equipment, and raw materials for an effective team environment;

· Understands various weld form symbols on weld drawings and understand size of fillet required;

· Takes accountability for workmanship, welds to Drill Rite quality standards and addresses deficiencies immediately.
