Goldbar Contractors Inc. (GCI) is a reputable mechanical contracting company seeking hard working, motivated individuals looking for an opportunity to break into the plumbing and gas fitting industry. As a well-established company, GCI continuously strives to create a safe working environment that promotes the wellbeing of all employees. Indentured apprentices in the plumbing and gas fitting program will be taught the knowledge it takes to become a successful journeyperson.

GCI specializes in commercial and light industrial work, with projects throughout the province of Alberta and are based out of Edmonton/Red Deer. As a company we offer the opportunity to train and work with large and small size copper, PVC, steel/stainless steel piping, and various types of mechanical equipment. As your apprenticeship progresses, you will gain more skills and responsibilities with the direction of our highly trained foremen.

Every project is different and comes with its own unique set of challenges. This allows for a wide variety of places to work such as: High-rise buildings in downtown Edmonton, hospitals, schools, ice rinks, water and waste water treatment facilities.
