Job Description
Loss Prevention Services Limited (LPS) is Ontario’s leading provider of security personnel, dedicated to safeguarding a diverse range of clients across the region. We are committed to excellence in security and loss prevention, and we are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced security guard in the Central and Western Greater Toronto Area. A successful candidate will be available to work days, evenings, and weekends on a full-time basis (up to 44 hours a week).

Position Overview:

As a Full-Time Security Guard with LPS, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our organization and retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support store staff as related to customer service.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Adhere diligently to established procedures and protocols.
• Prepare detailed incident reports using knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Citizen’s Power of Arrest.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while representing Loss Prevention Services at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Proven experience within the retail sector and/or a customer service role.
• High school diploma required; preference for graduates in Police Foundations or Law & Security.
• Full-Time and Part-Time availability, including weekends.
• Reliable cell phone with a data plan.
• Physical fitness to walk and stand for extended periods.
• High level of honesty and integrity.
• Possession of a reliable vehicle.
