Position: Welder-Fitter

Status: Permanent full-time position

Schedule: 40 hours/week, 4 days/week, Monday to Thursday

Start Date: Immediately (Flexible date)

Location: Vars, Ontario,15 minutes East from downtown Ottawa- Gatineau

Our production team is looking for some Welders-Fitters.

Job overview:
• Fitting and welding of sheet metal and assemblies
• Perform all welding tasks and related fabrication processes
• Weld and assemble on an assembly line
• Respect safe work policies and practices at all times

Qualifications:
• Experienced in M.I.G. welding - semi-automatic would be considered an asset
• Professional training and ability to read plans would be considered an asset
• Ability to work on a fast-paced assembly line
• Sense of responsibility and initiative
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
• Punctual and diligent
• Have a valid driver's license and access to a car

Notre équipe de fabrication est à la recherche de Soudeurs-Assembleurs.

Description de tâches:
• Procéder au montage de pièces de métal d'un ensemble
• Ajuster, réparer, modifier et effectuer la finition des produits de son département
• Souder et assembler sur une chaîne de montage
• Respecter les consignes de santé et sécurité en tout temps

Exigences et qualifications:
• Expérience en soudure au M.I.G. - soudeuse semi-automatique;
• Formation professionnelle et connaissance dans la lecture de plans (un atout)
• Capacité de travailler sur une chaîne de montage à un rythme continue
• Bon esprit d’équipe
• Ponctuel et assidu
• Sens des responsabilités et d’initiative
• Faire preuve de facilité d’adaptation
• Avoir un permis de conduire valide et accès à une voiture
