Overview

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Class 4 Driver to join our team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport passengers and goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work well with seniors. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to community transportation services while ensuring safety and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate Class 4 commercial vehicles according to traffic laws and company policies
• Transport seniors, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo or equipment as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the vehicle before and after trips
• Communicate effectively with passengers, team members, and dispatchers using strong verbal and written skills
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger needs courteously and professionally
• Follow all safety protocols, including adherence to traffic regulations and company safety standards
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance reports

Experience
• Prior experience in commercial driving or transportation is preferred
• Experience working with seniors is a plus
• Multilingual skills, especially fluency in Spanish and English, are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse communities
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting is advantageous
• Background in teaching or customer service roles can be beneficial for engaging with passengers effectively
