Position Title: Cleaner / Janitorial Staff

Available Shifts: Monday to Friday: 2:00pm -10:00pm or 10:00pm to 6:00am Saturday: 7:00am - 7:00pm Sundays: 7:00pm - 6:00 am

Position Summary

ServiceMaster is seeking proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team at Warehouse facilities. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment by performing scheduled cleaning and sanitation tasks in compliance with ServiceMaster and Customer standards. This role requires reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work and comply tasks efficiently with or without Supervision in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces in restrooms, breakrooms (toilets, urinals, partitions, walls, counter, mirrors, cubbies, etc.)
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces in main offices, recruiting office, Amcare, and other common areas like fun zone, multifaith room and smoking zones.
• Collect, empty, and dispose of trash and recycling material (corrugate, plastic wrap, straps, wood) in designated bins.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., janitorial carts, vacuum, floor scrubber) in a safe manner.
• Keep clean and tidy cleaning office and equipment (Janitorial office, janitorial carts, vacuum, scrubbers
• Respond promptly to wet or dry spills, and special cleaning requests.
• Follow all safety guidelines and adhere to Amazon’s facility security procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure all tasks are completed to ServiceMaster’s quality standards within assigned timeframes.

Qualifications
• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required (training provided).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
• Must be able to follow instructions and site safety procedures.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Must pass background check and meet Amazon facility security requirements.

Work Environment & Requirements
• Fast-paced operational environment with strict safety standards.
• Shifts may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by ServiceMaster.
• Safety Shoes (allow with composite toe only)

Performance Evaluation
All Cleaners are subject to a monthly performance evaluation conducted by their Site Supervisor or Manager. Evaluations will be based on:
• Quality and consistency of completed cleaning tasks.
• Attendance and punctuality.
• Compliance with ServiceMaster and Warehouse safety/security procedures.
• Attitude, professionalism and teamwork.
• Responsiveness to special requests and ability to adapt to operational needs.
