We are currently looking for a ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER to join our dynamic team at BLACK+BLUE STEAKHOUSE. We are currently looking for an energetic, passionate ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER to lead our opening team.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Work with the General Manager to oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation. Manage the restaurant within the policies and procedures of Glowbal Restaurant Group to ensure guest satisfaction and profit maximization.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 years minimum experience - management level in a similar environment
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage Management is an asset
• Sommelier accreditation or wine education is an asset
• Technically competent with industry related forms of computer and electronic commerce
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Sound inter-personal and conflict management skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to set priorities for self and others
• Exceptional leadership skills with the capacity to develop and motivate staff to achieve goals
• Commitment to exceeding guest expectations
