This position provides the opportunity to be home daily while working overnight and weekend shifts. Drivers will be responsible for timely and secure local deliveries, completing vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing excellent customer service.

Position Summary

Operating a tractor trailer equipped with a multi‑speed transmission (automatic or manual) safely by adhering to all safety requirements.

Responsibilities
• Perform inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment of tractor trailer unit before, during, and after trips, including gauges, lighting and electrical systems, and visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel and air leaks.
• Connect and disconnect semi‑tire hoses.
• Complete all applicable paperwork and maintain an up‑to‑date driver log throughout each shift.
• Communicate with dispatch.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co‑workers in a professional manner.
• Perform physical work at times, including lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Use satellite tracking equipment.
• Observe and comply with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act.

Minimum Qualifications
• Age 23 or older.
• Class 1 driver’s licence (state of issuance: AZ).
• Three years of commercial driving experience.
