Job Overview:

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for qualified Evening Working Supervisor for an immediate position located within the Ottawa area. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 600 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise, coordinate, and plan the work of employees
• Conduct monthly inspections of the facilities (including monitoring inventory and supplies)
• Ensure the proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment
• Cleaning duties including but not limited to; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing
• Completing orientation and training of all new staff
• Complete and submit time-off requests, disciplinary reports, accident reports, and other supervisor
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as floor waxing, carpet cleaning, or
• Monitor and maintain Domus standards of cleanliness

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Supervisor experience within the cleaning industry (commercial, industrial, or office)
• Advanced reading, writing, and communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Physical Abilities: standing, kneeling, walking up to 8 hrs a day
• Capable of lifting up to 40lbs
• Capable of completing repetitive tasks
