Job Description
Production Shop - Lots of movement every single day

- Fabricate and assemble steel/rebar/etc using welding techniques

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings (Proficient)

- Operate various tools and equipment such as calipers, press brake machines, shear machine, punch machine, drill press.

- Quality checks will be done to ensure products meet specifications

- Follow shop safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment - Ability to lift 50lbs with ease

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding in a Production Fabrication Shop - Ability to work at a fast pace continuously - Ability to complete task from start to finish

- Must Be well versed in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking processes

- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions

- CWB ticket is a plus

Skills:

- Welding: Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding

- Fabrication: Skilled in fabricating metal structures and components according to specifications

- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately

- Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical principles and metalworking processes

- Press Brake Machine: Experience operating press brake machines for bending and shaping metal

- Math: Ability to perform math calculations for measurements and dimensions

- Crane: Familiarity with rigging equipment for lifting and moving heavy materials

Must be able to pass a Police Check and a Drug Test
