Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

Title: Security Professionals

Location:Ottawa Ontario

Shift Time: 08:00-16:00 or 00:00-08:00

Pay Rate: $19.68

Shift: Monday to Sunday

Type: Casual

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Able to:
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Qualifications:
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• High School Diploma required
• 1-2 years of experience as a security guard.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week
• Good communication written and oral
• Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
• First aid and CPR level C
• Certified Use of Force training; certified to use handcuffs.

Physical Requirements:
• Remain on your feet or walk continuously (potentially for an entire shift) on different surfaces.
• Occasionally ascend stairs, ramps, or ladders throughout the shift.
• Periodically bend or twist at the waist, knees, or neck to complete various tasks.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Work in various conditions, including outdoor environments with extreme weather such as cold, snow, rain, or heat.
• Running may be required.
