Job Description
Looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? We’re currently recruiting for a Marketing Intern, Brand Programs to join our amazing team of talented employees. This is a hybrid role, our office is in Mississauga, ON, so we’re ideally looking for a candidate in the Greater Toronto Area.

This role is for a short-term contract until the end of August 2026.

Boston Pizza International has been recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies since 1994. Boston Pizza International Inc. is Canada’s No. 1 casual dining brand with more than 370 restaurants in Canada and more than $1 billion in annual sales. We hope you’ll consider joining us!

What you do:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Brand Programs, the Marketing Intern is a key support role within the team responsible for bringing Boston Pizza's national marketing programs to market. The role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — translating program plans into the executional details that move them forward, keeping internal and external partners aligned, and ensuring all Boston Pizza restaurants have what they need to deliver each program successfully and achieve the desired business results. This role is a strong fit for an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, a great communicator, and curious about the world of marketing communications and media.

In this role, you will be expected to:
• National Marketing Program Support: Support the Marketing Manager, Brand Programs in the planning, launch, and post-program measurement of national marketing initiatives. Help translate program objectives into clear, actionable briefs for our advertising, public relations, and media agencies, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, and timing. Track program performance against key metrics and contribute to wrap-up reports that inform future planning.
• Restaurant Communication: Lead the build-out of program communication pages on Bostonlink (our SharePoint-based franchisee and manager portal) so that all Boston Pizza restaurants have a single, clear source of truth for how to execute each national marketing program. Organize content for ease of use, partner with internal stakeholders to gather inputs, and keep pages current as program details evolve.
• Production Attendance: Attend on-set production shoots (photography, video, etc.) to represent the brand programs team alongside other team members, and ensure final assets reflect the creative brief. Act as a day-of point of contact for our agency and production partners, flagging any deviations from approved scope and supporting timely sign-offs.
• Restaurant Marketing Kit Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of national marketing kits shipped to all restaurant locations. Define kit contents (in-restaurant print materials, etc.) in coordination with marketing colleagues, manage version control across English and French assets, and coordinate timelines with our print partners to ensure final files are delivered on schedule. Reconcile kit quantities against location counts and troubleshoot fulfillment issues as they arise.
• Sales Incentive Program Management: Support the rollout of national sales incentive programs that reward restaurant team members (e.g. top-selling servers in featured menu items). Pull and validate results from sales data, identify winners at each participating location, and coordinate prize fulfillment and winner notifications in partnership with restaurant operations and Business Science team.
• French Translation Coordination: Manage the day-to-day relationship with our French translation partner, routing copy for translation, tracking turnaround times, and ensuring all French-language assets are delivered in time to meet program launch deadlines.

Who you are:
• You have completed or working towards a post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• You have 0–2 years of marketing, communications, or related experience, including internships, co-op terms, or part-time roles.
• You are proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• You may have working knowledge of SharePoint or comparable intranet platforms.
• You have strong organizational and project coordination skills, with an ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in proofreading and content review.
• You are comfortable working with data in Excel (e.g. sorting, filtering, basic formulas) to support sales incentive reporting.
• You can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
• You are eager to learn the franchise restaurant industry and have a genuine interest in brand marketing.
