Position Overview

Whitemud Ironworks Limited is hiring experienced Field SMAW Welders for our Edmonton-based construction team. Enjoy local work, home every night, and year-round employment. Key Responsibilities
• Read, understand and follow instruction drawings and weld procedures
• Weld structural and miscellaneous carbon steel using SMAW or FCAW all positions
• Work at heights as required.

Qualifications
• Ticketed journeyman or registered apprentice
• Valid CWB SMAW all position ticket preferred
• CWB FCAW all position ticket is an asset
• Minimum 2 years' experience with structural steel projects
• Experience with commercial projects is an asset
• Takes safety as your number one priority
• Reliable and willing to work as a team with others
