Job Description
This is a downtown office building located on Elgin Street in central Ottawa. It's a 27-storey commercial building (about 94 m tall) in Centretown, housing offices and services not a sports or concert venue.

Position: Part Time Security Guard

Site:160 Place Bell

Hours: 2300-0700 (Friday-Saturday)

Overtime Method: ESA

Pay rate:$18.54/hour

Job Duties:
β€’ Proactive & reactive security patrols
β€’ Response to incidents
β€’ Report writing
β€’ Investigate routine incidents
β€’ Liase with emergency responders during any emergency situations
β€’ Work with team to complete daily tasks
β€’ Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:
β€’ Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
β€’ Functional ability with computers and technology (Microsoft Office, etc.)
β€’ Superior customer service and professional
β€’ First Aid & CPR – Level C (WSIB Approved)
β€’ Fluency in English (oral & written)
β€’ Fluency in French (oral & written) is considered an asset
β€’ Ability to function independently and multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment
β€’ Ability to perform consistent patrols on foot
β€’ Ability to follow instructions and enforce on-site protocols and procedures
β€’ Other duties as assigned
