This posting is for on call/casual positions only and is for an ongoing recruitment campaign.

We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of Telecommunications, Commercial, Industrial, Railways and Corporate.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Wages: $18.00+/hour (depending on site)

Shift timings: Varies (Days, Afternoons, Overnights, Weekends)

Responsibilities:
• De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Denying entry to anyone without authorization.
• Operate gates at gatehouse locations, screening all visitors and truck drivers.
• Inspect trailers ensuring trailer doors are locked and sealed before the truck leaves.
• Assist mobile operations teams with security protocols and enhance security at strategic locations.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.

Qualifications:
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 1 years of security experience minimum within large scale security operations is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• G or G2 class drivers' license with your own vehicle is preferred.
• Customer service experience is a strong asset.
