Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker and or Structural experienced welders (7018) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and manufacturing, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves assembling, installing, and repairing metal structures and frameworks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the process.

Duties
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Bolt-Up, Connecting, Welding, Torch Cutting
• Plumbing of structures
• Layout of clips on embeds, layout of shim packs, use of lasers and layout tools.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as SMAW and FCAW in a field environment.
• Signal cranes and signal/operate forklifts to lift heavy materials into position.
• Perform rigging tasks to secure loads for safe transportation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements
• Proven experience in ironworking or a related field with hands-on skills in welding, assembly, and construction.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery and tools including calipers, power tools, and hand tools.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
• Experience in rigging, Steel installation, Steel fabrication, Welding.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
