Position Overview:

GalleryExpress FAS is seeking a full-time Class DZ driver with experience handling artwork or other high-value goods. This position will include driving in southern Ontario and the USA.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate company transport vehicles within Ontario and the USA
• Handle fine art, including wrapping, packing, loading and unloading using appropriate techniques
• Conduct inspections for artworks, as required
• Follow established routes and maintain a schedule for pickup and delivery, responding to delays and setbacks with the support of the administrative team
• Act as an on-site liaison for clients, including artists, institutions, galleries and collectors
• Complete paperwork as required, ensuring completeness and accuracy

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Valid DZ class Ontario driver’s license
• Experience handling high-value goods
• Driver’s abstract
• Valid passport with the ability to travel to the USA
• Experience with transporting high-value goods
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective and clear communicator with the ability to maintain discretion
• Professional demeanour and conduct
• Ability to safely lift and manoeuvre objects of up to 60lbs
• Adaptable and willing to work with a variable schedule
