Assistant Manager / Cleaning Supervisor – Maidora (Calgary)

Maidora is hiring an Assistant Manager / Cleaning Supervisor to work alongside a team of residential cleaners while leading by example inside clients’ homes. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong residential cleaning experience, leadership ability, and solid customer service skills.

Maidora is a brand new cleaning company launching in Calgary, and this is an opportunity to step into a bigger role early on, grow with the company, and be part of building the service from the ground up.

You will be actively cleaning, supporting team members, communicating with clients, and helping ensure each day runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
β€’ Working in a team of 2 or 3 while actively completing residential cleaning tasks
β€’ Ensuring homes are cleaned to company standards and client expectations
β€’ Communicating directly with clients to understand priorities and special requests
β€’ Managing daily routes and job flow using our scheduling app
β€’ Driving between homes throughout the day
β€’ Using professional-grade equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products
β€’ Training and supporting team members
β€’ Maintaining quality, efficiency, and consistency across all jobs
β€’ Handling basic day-to-day problem solving on-site

Experience Requirements (Very Important)
β€’ Residential cleaning experience is REQUIRED
β€’ Experience working for a maid service or residential cleaning company is a major asset
β€’ Hotel housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work does NOT count as equivalent experience

Requirements
β€’ Valid Canadian driver’s license
β€’ Personal vehicle strongly preferred for travel between jobs
β€’ Clean driving record
β€’ Clean criminal record (required for insurance and client trust)
β€’ Strong leadership and communication skills
β€’ Positive attitude and strong work ethic
β€’ Comfortable carrying cleaning equipment, including backpack vacuums
β€’ Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively
β€’ Able to work weekdays starting at 9:00 AM until jobs are completed (typically mid to late afternoon)
