We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Burrito Maker to join our vibrant food service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences. The Burrito Maker will be responsible for preparing delicious burritos and other menu items, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and assemble burritos according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely food preparation during busy hours
• Handle food with proper sanitation and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations
• Assist with food service duties, including serving customers and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for daily operations
• Ensure all food handling practices meet safety standards and sanitation requirements
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience

Qualifications
• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and order accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
• Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior experience in cashiering or food handling is beneficial but not required
