Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a vibrant restaurant environment. Duties
• Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
• Support food presentation and ensure meals are served promptly and attractively
• Help with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to comply with food safety regulations
• Contribute to meal preparation during busy service hours, ensuring efficiency and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils throughout shifts
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs
• Support the serving staff by providing timely assistance during service hours when needed
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

Qualifications
• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards
• Strong understanding of meal preparation and presentation
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
