Job Description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Associates to join the Packaging Department of one of our manufacturing clients. This role supports production schedules by performing general labour and packaging duties while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and hygiene.
• Pay Rate: $ 17.00
• Location: Calgary, AB (SE)
• Shift: Monday to Friday
• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
• Perform general labour duties within the Packaging Department to meet production schedules
• Operate and support packaging equipment; make minor mechanical adjustments as required
• Pack finished goods into retail or consumer packaging in accordance with quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and sanitation procedures
• Provide support to other packaging team members as needed
• Accurately complete production and quality records
• Comply with all company policies, safety requirements, and work instructions

Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous manufacturing or production experience considered an asset
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable with a positive attitude
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and repetitive tasks
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 50lbs
• Comfortable working in environments with heat and cold
• Commitment to safety, quality, integrity, and continuous improvement
• Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
