Job Description
Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner/KOT to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills.

Duties
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Track the orders on POS system and coordinate with Chefs and servers
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards before serving.
• Ensure the dishes served to the needs of customer orders
• Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure guest health and satisfaction.
• Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to requests for assistance.

Requirements
• Previous experience in an Indian restaurant or food service environment is mandatory.
• Familiarity with cashiering, POS systems, and food safety practices is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift trays of food or beverages as needed.
