This role involves full cycle metal fabrication using punches, mills, brakes, shears, and a wide range of shop equipment. Strong technical ability, a solid work ethic, and clear communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal parts using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to meet exact specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery, including manual and automated welding tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials and tools.
• Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues, ensuring efficient and accurate solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients to provide progress updates and address concerns.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a job shop environment.
• Proficient in multiple welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Strong understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Solid knowledge of metal types, material properties, and welding processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Must possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Valid welding certifications and safety training are an asset.
