Job Description

Position: Warehouse Worker
Location: Edmonton, Alberta - T5S 2W2
Duration: 1 month temp (May get Extended)
Client: Leading Tools Manufacturer
Pay Rate: $19 - $22/hr
Shift: 8am - 4:30pm

Duties:

Receiving & Inspection:

Unpack incoming customer shipments and prepare tools for the next stage in the repair process.

Accurately, log received items using the SAP system (training provided).

Shipping & Fulfillment:

Prepare and package outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.

Complete Hazmat paperwork for applicable shipments (UPS / FedEx / LTL).

Inventory & Material Handling:

Assist in warehousing and inventory control of spare parts and packaging materials.

Organize and replenish packaging supplies to ensure availability and accessibility.

Workplace Organization & Safety:

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in accordance with 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).

Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement using LEAN practices.

Team Collaboration & Performance:

Support team goals by completing tasks efficiently and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

Participate in cross-functional tasks and other duties as assigned.

Warehouse conditions:

Temperature control warehouse (heat and air condition)

β€’Workshop environment is subject to noise, dust and other particles

Safety Equipment Required:
Must observe and abide by any and all safety regulations as required and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

β€’ Proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials and OSHA policy

β€’ Must wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety equipment as required when working in the warehouse and/or operating machinery

Physical Requirements:

Regular heavy lifting of 50 + lbs.

β€’ Occasional heavy lifting up to 75 lbs. required

β€’ Warehouse material handling equipment and truck loading / unloading

β€’ Must be able to tolerate prolonged standing, repetitive bending and reaching, and climbing up and down ladders

Skills:

Comfortable using computers and software tools
