Job Description
SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for CO2 Welder to perform high-quality welding using COâ (MIG) welding processes on various metal components, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with company and industry standards.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 10 / Matric (preferred).
• Welding certification (MIG/COâ welding qualification).
• 2–5 years’ experience as a COâ /MIG welder (preferably in manufacturing or engineering environment).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Good attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform COâ (MIG) welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Prepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning).
• Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.
• Repair defective welds and structures as required.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Work within production timelines and meet daily targets.
