Job Description
Decribtion:

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Parts Picker to join a leading commercial vehicle dealership based in Cape Town.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support the Parts Manager to ensure a constant and efficient supply of parts to technicians.
• Ensure all parts picking slips are actioned quickly and accurately.
• Pick, check, and record all parts before packing and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate stock handling and counting processes.
• Ensure all tasks comply with company standards and operational procedures.
• Adhere strictly to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain proper use and care of tools, special tools, and company assets.
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe at all times.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as required by management.
• Participate in relevant training programmes to improve performance and efficiency.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and peers.
• Perform all other reasonable tasks as requested by the Parts Manager.

Requirements:
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar warehouse or parts environment.
• Full understanding of warehouse operations and stock handling procedures.
• Accurate counting and stock control ability.
• Code 10 driver’s licence.
• Physically fit and able to handle a physically demanding role.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Team player with a confident and proactive approach.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence.
• Clear criminal record.
