Are you ready to take charge in a fast-paced and demanding environment? You will be at the forefront of planning, supervising, and leading the production shift, ensuring the packing plant's safe and efficient operation. Your expertise will drive the company towards achieving technical KPIs and optimising production processes.

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Packing Manager who doesn't necessarily have to be a pharmacist, although pharmacy experience would be advantageous. What's crucial is a strong leadership ability coupled with a passion for reaching production targets. You will be a person who thrives in a diverse environment and is able to handle people-related challenges effectively. Adaptability is key, as production requirements may change at a moment's notice.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Matric
- BPharm or Pharmacist Assistant Qualification or Business Management

OR Production Qualification with 5 years of relevant experience in production/packing.
- SYSPRO experience.
- Computer literate

Key Result Areas:

- Manage the packing plant team.
- Optimisation of the packer machines for efficient production.
- Ensure production targets are met daily.
- Perform daily and monthly stock reconciliation.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory stock, plastics, and empty bags.
- Manage efficient usage of packaging materials per production line.
- Reduce waste in the packing dept.
- Data documented as required.
- Ensure Safety and Housekeeping and SHEQ initiatives.
- Ensure safety on the job by attending to safety audits.
- Ensure GMP compliance.
