Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
β€’ Conduct daily inspections and report vehicle faults
β€’ Safely load and off-load materials, equipment and construction machines
β€’ Comply with Road Traffic Act and Occupational Health & Safety regulations
β€’ Navigate routes efficiently, including long-distance hauls
β€’ Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
β€’ Safely transport abnormal loads, including oversized or overweight cargo

Desired Experience & Qualification
β€’ A minimum Grade 12 certificate;
β€’ A valid unendorsed EC Driver’s License with PrDP;
β€’ A valid Forklift licence;
β€’ Must have valid Dangerous Goods Certificate;
β€’ Must have own reliable transport;
β€’ A minimum of 5 years in heavy duty driving experience;
β€’ Must be experienced in transportation and handling of Dangerous Goods;
β€’ Clean driving record
β€’ Proven ability to safety load/off-load construction machines
β€’ Able to use GPS
β€’ Must be medically fit to perform physical work;
β€’ Must be willing to work Flexi hours & overtime when required;
β€’ Must be able to produce written reports on vehicle fitness and accurate delivery paperwork;
β€’ Must have good verbal and written communication skills, specifically in English
