Primary Responsibilities & Duties
Main purpose of the Job:
To support the implementation and maintenance of the Security Management System for BidAir Cargo and Interloc Freight Services, ensuring compliance with SACAA and other regulatory requirements. The Compliance Officer assists in managing security service providers and implementing preventive security measures.
Security System Support:

Maintain the Aviation Security Program in compliance with CAA and company requirements.

Conduct regular security vulnerability assessments and recommend preventive measures.
?
Document assessment findings and communicate deficiencies to relevant stakeholders.
?
Track corrective actions and verify closure of non-compliances.
?
Foster security culture.
?
Participate in external audits and facilitate compliance with audit requirements.
Incident Management and Investigation:

Report all security incidents and breaches to management promptly.
?
Log incidents on the IQSMS system and ensure thorough investigation.
?
Track and verify closure of security incidents and maintain detailed records.
?
Prepare incident reports for management and regulatory authorities.
Security Resource Management:
?
Monitor and evaluate the performance of security service providers.
?
Ensure all security equipment and consumables are serviceable and properly maintained.
?
Verify that only authorized personnel operate security-related equipment.
?
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality incidents and corrective actions.
?
Maintain records of all compliance activities for audit and regulatory purposes.
Regulatory and SLA Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation security regulations: SACARs, SACATS and CAA directives.

Review and update security-related policies and procedures as required.
?
Conduct spot checks and inspections to verify compliance with SOPs.
?
Facilitate internal and external security audits and provide required documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement:

Cooperate with airport authorities, police, customs, and airlines.

Organize and deliver briefing sessions on security management and compliance.
?
Communicate changes in security procedures and policies to all relevant staff.

Encourage staff to report security threats, breaches, and suggest improvements.
