Job Description
CMB Contractors and Services is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Installation Electrician to join our electrical team for municipal electrical infrastructure work.

Minimum requirements
• Registered Installation Electrician
• Recognised electrical qualification/trade certificate
• Current registration documentation
• Proven practical electrical installation experience
• Experience with LV electrical installations
• Experience with cable jointing and terminations
• Strong preference for candidates with LV PILC/SWA experience
• Strong preference for candidates with 6.6 kV–22 kV MV cable experience
• Experience with XLPE cable jointing and/or termination will be highly advantageous
• Ability to work safely and according to electrical standards and site procedures
• Valid driver's licence advantageous

Highly advantageous experience

Candidates with previous experience on:
• Municipal electrical distribution networks
• 6.6 kV, 11 kV or 22 kV systems
• Single-core XLPE cables
• Three-core XLPE cables
• PILC cables
• Cable jointing and termination
• MV testing and fault-related work

will receive strong preference.
