Job Description
The Quality and Welding Engineer will oversee fabrication quality, welding processes and compliance across manufacturing operations. The role ensures that structural, mechanical and pressure components are produced to specification, industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee welding procedures, WPS, PQR and welder qualification processes
• Inspect fabricated components, welds and assemblies against drawings and specifications
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventative actions
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards and internal quality management systems
• Work with manufacturing teams to resolve fabrication issues and improve processes
• Monitor material traceability, documentation and quality records
• Perform dimensional checks, NDT coordination and final inspections
• Provide technical support to production, engineering and project teams

Requirements
• BEng Mechanical or Bachelor of Engineering with a focus on welding, fabrication or quality
• Experience in welding engineering, fabrication quality or heavy industrial manufacturing
• Knowledge of ISO 3834, ISO 9001 and relevant welding codes
• Understanding of NDT processes
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
