Job Title: General Worker - Cleaning, Groundskeeping and Maintenance

Job Type: Permanent (with 3-month probation)

Location: Weavind Park

Hours: Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 16:00. Flexibility may be required.

Job Description: We are looking for a reliable, hands-on General Worker to assist with cleaning, groundskeeping, basic maintenance and general upkeep at a complex in Weavind Park. The successful candidate must show initiative, report issues timeously, support rule compliance, and assist caretaker when required.

· No-nonsense approach to cleanliness, safety, property care and rule compliance.

· Team player who is willing to assist the caretaker, trustees and managing agent where required.

Minimum Requirements:

· Cleaning, gardening, groundskeeping or maintenance experience will be advantageous.

· Valid South African ID or legal right to work in South Africa.

· Physically able to perform cleaning, gardening and general upkeep duties.

· Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools and equipment; basic handyman skills advantageous.

· Able to communicate clearly, including via WhatsApp where required.

· Reliable, honest, respectful and able to work independently.

· Shows initiative and is willing to assist the caretaker when required.

Responsibilities:

· Cleaning common areas, refuse areas and other designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.

· Assisting with garden, groundskeeping and refuse management.

· Reporting maintenance issues, damages, hazards, rule breaches or incidents.

· Using cleaning materials, tools and equipment responsibly.

· Assisting with basic handyman duties within the employee’s ability.

· Supporting rule compliance and a neat, safe property environment.

· Assisting the caretaker with site matters, contractor access and basic reporting.

· Assisting with general property upkeep duties as reasonably required.
