Position available for a Plumber

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Grade 12
• Trade test certificate (Section 13 or 28) is essential. Some roles require a NQF Level 5 or 6 qualification in Plumbing / Civil Engineering.
• 2-3 years of maintenance or construction plumbing experience.
• PIRB (Plumbing Industry Registration Board) registration (beneficial).

Key Job Specifications & Responsibilities:
• Installations: Fitting pipes, valves, sanitary fixtures, and geysers in new construction.
• Maintenance & Repair: Conducting plumbing system assessments, fixing leaks, unblocking drains, and performing preventative maintenance.
• Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS), SANS codes, and local municipality bylaws.
• Technical Skills: Cutting, threading, and welding pipes, reading blueprints, and handling maintenance call-outs.
• Reporting: Preparing, and issuing quotes, and producing detailed work reports.
