Our client, a leading fabrication workshop specializing in structural steel for the construction industry, is offering an exciting Apprentice Welder position within their team in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA . This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and hands-on individual looking to build a successful career in welding and metal fabrication. As an apprentice, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and theoretical instruction under the guidance of experienced master welders. You will learn to interpret blueprints and technical drawings, prepare metal surfaces for welding, and master various welding techniques, including but not limited to MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Responsibilities will include assisting senior welders with fabrication tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to strict quality and safety standards. You will gain experience working with different types of metals and learning to identify and correct defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine interest in mastering welding skills.
