The Group has a position available for a suitably experienced, attention to detail and dedicated individual to join the Engineering team as a Qualified Electrician. The successful candidate will report to the Electrical Department Manager. Included in the responsibilities are:
β€’ Assisting the team with maintenance and upgrading of existing electrical control and distribution systems
β€’ Electrical diagnoses and suitable repairs
β€’ Housekeeping
β€’ Point to point checks on PLCs
β€’ Point to point checks on control and power systems
β€’ Read and correctly interpret electrical diagrams
β€’ Attending to plant maintenance and breakdowns
β€’ Assist the department manager with ad-hoc duties

Qualifying Criteria
β€’ Qualified Red Seal Electrical Trade test
β€’ Minimum of 8 years relevant working experience
β€’ Adhering to the regulations as set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act
β€’ Atleast National N3 certificate for Electricians
β€’ Good communication skills, (speak, read and write English)
β€’ Prepared to work overtime
β€’ Valid Driver’s license
