ABOUT THE ROLE

The position requires a skilled Electrician to handle the end-to-end installation and maintenance of solar PV systems and conventional electrical infrastructure.

MAIN DUTIES

The candidate will be responsible for the following deliverables:
β€’ Installation and Integration: Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and solar PV installations. Connect solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other critical system components.
β€’ Assessment and Planning: Perform site inspections and load assessments to prepare for solar system installations. Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time.
β€’ Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical faults in both conventional and solar systems. Conduct preventative maintenance on solar systems and electrical equipment.
β€’ Compliance and Support: Ensure all work complies with electrical and safety standards. Keep accurate records of work performed and provide technical guidance to clients.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
β€’ Education and Certification: Grade 12 certificate and a Qualified Electrician status (Trade Tested – Red Seal preferred).
β€’ Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrician with proven experience specifically in solar PV installations across residential, commercial, or industrial sectors.
β€’ Licensing: A valid driver's license is mandatory for site visits and project locations.
