Job Objectives:

Deliver prescription and OTC medications to residential homes, clinics, retirement homes, and hospitals

Ensure urgent deliveries are prioritised

Handle temperature sensitive and scheduled medication securely

Ensure refrigerated medication/products have ice packs

Loading vehicle carefully to ensure the safe delivery of parcels

Obtain signatures and maintain proof-of-delivery

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare staff

Relay customer concerns or queries to the Dispensary Manager

Return undelivered or rejected items to the dispensary with the relevant documentation

Ensure that the vehicle is cleaned regularly

Ensure check sheet for deliveries are completed accurately

Ensure the accurate number of parcels are confirmed beforehand

Ensure that all duties allocated are carried out and completed
