Position available for a Red Seal Electrician.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Essential: Recognized Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal).
• Experience: Usually 3–5 years of industrial, manufacturing, or construction experience.
• Education: Grade 12 or N4–N6 Electrical Engineering.
• License: Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Wireman’s License and experience with HVAC or PLC systems.

Key Job Specifications & Responsibilities:
• Installation & Maintenance: Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, distribution boards, transformers, and electrical equipment.
• Fault Finding: Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues using testing devices (e.g., multimeters).
• Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards (e.g., OHS Act), and regulations.
• Technical Drawings: Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Environment: Frequently working in manufacturing, mining, or industrial environments, requiring experience with PLC systems.
• Standby / Overtime: Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or standby for emergency breakdowns.
