Our client, a major industrial facility, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Industrial Cleaner and Facilities Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations and maintain a safe, hygienic, and efficient working environment in **Pretoria, Gauteng**. This critical role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of industrial cleaning best practices, safety protocols, and team leadership. You will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning staff, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across the entire facility.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the industrial cleaning team. Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive cleaning schedules and procedures. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with company policies and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address cleaning and maintenance needs. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage. Train and mentor cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of chemicals. Contribute to the continuous improvement of cleaning processes and standards. Qualifications: Proven experience in industrial cleaning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques. Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial cleaning. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to train and motivate a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor as required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. First Aid and Safety certification is a plus. Experience with waste management procedures is advantageous. This is an on-site position based in **Pretoria, Gauteng**.
