Job Description
Our client, a rapidly growing electrical contracting firm committed to developing talent, is looking for motivated Apprentice Electricians to join their fully remote training program based out of Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA . This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals eager to learn the electrical trade from the ground up. While the initial training and theoretical learning will be conducted remotely, apprentices will be provided with comprehensive online resources, mentorship from experienced electricians, and potentially hands-on project experience in a distributed capacity or as opportunities arise. You will gain foundational knowledge in electrical theory, safety protocols, blueprint reading, and the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
Actively participate in all aspects of the remote training program, including online modules, virtual workshops, and theoretical assessments. Study and understand electrical theory, principles, and national electrical code requirements. Learn and adhere to all safety regulations and practices relevant to the electrical trade. Assist in the reading and interpretation of electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Gain knowledge in the use of tools, equipment, and materials commonly used by electricians. Participate in online discussions and collaborate with fellow apprentices and instructors. Develop an understanding of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. Learn about the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical wiring, lighting, control systems, and power distribution. Maintain a logbook of training activities and acquired skills as required. Demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and professional development within the electrical trade. Qualifications:
