Senior Pharmaceutical Quality Control Specialist

Our client, a distinguished pharmaceutical company at the forefront of healthcare innovation, is seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Quality Control Specialist. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to critical quality assurance processes from anywhere. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in pharmaceutical product manufacturing, testing, and release. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), analytical testing methodologies, and regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Developing, validating, and executing analytical test methods for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Performing stability studies and analyzing results to ensure product shelf‑life integrity.
• Interpreting analytical data and generating comprehensive Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
• Investigating out‑of‑specification (OOS) results and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines, including FDA, EMA, and local health authority requirements.
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring proper calibration and maintenance schedules.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
• Collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, via virtual communication channels.
• Reviewing and approving batch records and quality documentation.
• Staying current with advancements in pharmaceutical quality control and analytical techniques.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control. Proven expertise in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, spectroscopy (UV‑Vis, IR), and wet chemistry is essential. A strong understanding of GMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory compliance is mandatory. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills are required. The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment is critical.
