Three Phase Electrician

ROLE CONTEXT

The Three-Phase Installation Electrician will be responsible for performing highly skilled electrical maintenance, installation, repairs and troubleshooting work involved within the heating, refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation scope. Work involves technical application of electrical principles and optimising

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
• Installation of air-conditioning equipment, power supplies and control circuits.
• Conducting fault diagnoses
• Completing administrative tasks
• Fault finding
• Replacement of electrical components no longer working
• Inspection measuring testing and or replacing of thermocouples, heating elements, transducers, wiring of 3 phase motors etc.
• Maintenance of DB boards, electrical control panels and chiller plantrooms.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience:
• Minimum 3 – 5 years industry / service experience in related field
• Minor mechanical work experience
• Refrigeration and air-conditioning experience essential

Qualifications:
• Red Seal Electrician Trade Certificate
• Wireman’s License
• SANS 10142-1 Code of Practice Certificate
• Registered with Department of Labour (DoL) as Installation Electrician (380 Volts)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
