Job Description
Job description/responsibilities: Inspects products prior to packaging and returns rejected products to production departments. Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications. Starts, adjusts, and repairs packaging machinery, or notifies maintenance department. Trains workers in operation of equipment. Requisitions containers and other supplies for delivery to workstations. Analyze and determine all standards for packaging limes and ensure compliance to all schedule for processes and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively. Monitor and recommend improvements to process and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively. Coordinate with quality and warehouse departments to monitor everyday activities of units and ensure efficient working of both manufacturing. Performs other duties as described. Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Any qualification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain or similar fields will be advantageous. Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (food industry experience is essential). Skills: Previous leadership experience and possess strong leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Eye for detail and accuracy. Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic. Ability to work as part of a team. Professional appearance and attitude. Must be computer literate (MS Excel essential). Proactive organizational skills. Must have previous warehouse experience. Must be in good health and physical condition.
