About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional
Driver to join our Pretoria team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating the company bakkie and motorbike to deliver products to customers and between branches. The role requires excellent time management, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
β€’ Safely operate company vehicles, including a bakkie and motorbike, for deliveries and collections.
β€’ Follow scheduled delivery routes and instructions.
β€’ Load, secure, transport, and unload products safely.
β€’ Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
β€’ Maintain accurate delivery and collection documentation.
β€’ Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers.
β€’ Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure efficient deliveries.
β€’ Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
β€’ Report any vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, or safety concerns immediately.
β€’ Assist in the store when required.
β€’ Participate in stock takes and general operational support activities.

Minimum Requirements
βœ” Minimum
3 years' driving experience operating both vehicles and motorbikes.

βœ” Valid
motorbike license for 125cc engine capacity or higher

(not a scooter license).

βœ” Good knowledge of Pretoria and surrounding areas.

βœ” Strong communication and customer service skills.

βœ” Friendly, honest, trustworthy, and reliable.

βœ” Punctual with the ability to follow schedules and procedures.

βœ” Physically fit and able to lift, move, and load products safely.

βœ” Clean criminal record with no pending criminal cases.

βœ” Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Advantageous
β€’ Previous experience within a distribution, logistics, or industrial products environment.
β€’ Knowledge of rubber products or the rubber industry (training will be provided).
