About the Role

Excellerate Services is seeking suitably qualified Aviation Security Guards to join our Aviation Security Operations team. The successful candidates will be responsible for safeguarding people, assets, infrastructure, and operations within a regulated aviation environment while ensuring compliance with all applicable aviation security legislation and client requirements.
What You Will Bring

Inherent Requirements for the Position (Non-Negotiable)

Applicants must possess the following valid qualifications and certifications:
• Part 109 Certificate
• Part 110 Certificate
• Part 92 Certificate
• PSIRA Grade C Registration Certificate
• NKP Regulation 16 Certificate
• South African Citizen with a valid South African ID
• Clear criminal record
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required

Additional Demonstrable Requirements
• Previous aviation security experience will be advantageous
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong observation and incident reporting skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Customer service orientation
• Sound understanding of aviation security protocols and access control procedures

What You Will Be Doing
• Conduct access control duties at designated entry and exit points
• Monitor restricted and security-sensitive areas
• Perform security patrols and inspections in accordance with aviation security regulations
• Enforce aviation security procedures and operational standards
• Identify, report, and respond to security threats, incidents, and emergencies
• Complete occurrence books, registers, and incident reports accurately
• Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures when required
• Ensure compliance with client, company, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a professional security presence at all times
